How many meetings do I have with my DJ?
When having a special event, meeting up with your DJ is advisable to establish a working relationship. Music is the backbone of every event and it is essential that your DJ, being a fundamental component, knows exactly what you require.
Meeting up in person with your DJ gives you the opportunity to discuss the plans for your event in detail. Your timetable will determine many factors, but it’s good to have a thorough look while investigating a range of suggestions and scenarios.
We believe the first meeting will determine if you like your DJ or not. There is no need for us to beat around the bush. In your first exchanges, you will know instantly if the DJ is best suited to you.
An event DJ will be representing you and your family, your corporate event or organisation on the day/night; it has to be someone that you believe will do this to the best of their ability.
A second meeting is an ideal chance to see your DJ playing at an event. This will give you the opportunities to see them at work. You will not be able to chat to them at great length; it’s mainly so you get a feel of how they are in a live situation.
A third meeting should take place after you have decided you like your DJ. Ideally meeting at the venue you have decided to have your function is advisable. You can convey your all your thoughts and elements in detail.
After these initial meetings, you should feel content and confident ahead of your event.
If you feel like you require more meetings, discuss with your DJ and workout if it will be productive, as you may be able to discuss things over the phone having gone over all your main details.
