DJing for Heineken – DJ Knight

This week I was Djing for Heineken at the Ascot racecourse. As a professional DJ I am requested to play at all types of events. I specialise in special event DJing, where its about knowing how to play to a range of guests, of different age groups and who have varying music tastes.

DJing for Heineken was a great experience for me, as this was the first time Djing at Ascot. As a special events DJ, I get to play at some of the most amazing venue spaces in the world. This is great, because every space has it own unique character. I often get asked what has been my favourite venue that I have played in so far. The answer cannot so black and white.

The reason being, every event, and function space differs. For example – you could have a corporate event and a wedding in the same venue and they would be completely different. This is because every single event will never be the same. This can be for a number of reasons, such as the set up in the room, the guests, the theme, the musical requests and more. Playing at a range of events such as weddings, birthdays, clubs, corporate and special events all have there own unique twist which differentiates them for one another.

DJing for Heineken at Ascot was one of those unique moments. The event was themed around having fun and a good time. The guests had plenty of activities to partake in. The music I played was of a varied nature. Catering for all age groups is important at corporate functions. The idea of a party/event is for everyone to have a good time. And my role as a DJ is to ensure that the music does just that. DJing for Heineken was a fantastic event and I look forward to working with them in the future.

What’s a Rich Text element?

The rich text element allows you to create and format headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, images, and video all in one place instead of having to add and format them individually. Just double-click and easily create content.

Static and dynamic content editing

A rich text element can be used with static or dynamic content. For static content, just drop it into any page and begin editing. For dynamic content, add a rich text field to any collection and then connect a rich text element to that field in the settings panel. Voila!

How to customize formatting for each rich text

Headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, figures, images, and figure captions can all be styled after a class is added to the rich text element using the "When inside of" nested selector system.
